"We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Mandel and Isa. At the beginning of the year, we hired Gimel construction to do a kitchen remodel with additional work to our family room. The project included new cabinets, countertops and an island redesign in the kitchen in addition to new cabinets, countertop and installation of a wine fridge in the bar area. On our fireplace wall they did stucco work, changed out travertine tile for brick on the fireplace surround and installed a cabinet for the stereo equipment. They also changed out countertops and sinks in the laundry room and guest bathroom. 

From the beginning of the project, Mandel was detailed and on top of things. What I appreciated most, besides how clean he and his assistant were, was his concern for making sure we loved the final product. Whether that was the type of lights going above the cabinets and creating the right lighting effect or the style of molding that was being used. He was always willing to take the time to try out alternative things even though we would usually end up going back to what he had first suggested. Mandel and Isa were always communicative, trustworthy, and timely in getting the project done.

My husband and I heard story after story about construction jobs "gone wrong," when we first began talking about remodeling our bathrooms and kitchen. We were very nervous and wanted to take our time to choose the right people to work on our home. I am thankful to have been given Gimel Construction as a referral from a colleague and friend. She assured me that the people of Gimel would be a trustworthy company and so we gave them a call! 

Throughout the process, we felt like we could discuss any concerns openly without worry. When supply chain delays happened, we were reassured that the work would continue asap. we also have small children in our home, and they were considerate of the mess, and concerned about the safety of our kids. 

Not only did we feel they were a fair price, but they provided quality work - our kitchen and bathrooms look beautiful! Our experience with Gimel construction was very good, and we plan to use them again in the future.

Mandel and Isa of Gimel construction were recommended to us by my stepmother Sonja. She had worked on a previous home as an interior designer that Mandel and his team had remodeled. We had gone through a string of bad contractors were were either overpriced or were completely unresponsive. After meeting Isa and Mandle for the first time, it was clear that they were both genuine and competent. After several recommendations from them for vendors (countertops, cabinets, etc.) all of which were of good quality and priced well, we agreed on a price and began.

We were able to go on vacation during the demolition phase and were pleasantly surprised when we returned. Although our house was gutted, we could tell that everything remaining in there was well cared for and the house was very clean. We chose to stay in the house during the remodel, so these details meant a lot to us. Once the remodel portion began in earnest, we had Mandel and his team in and out of the house daily. That part is unavoidable; however, everyone was very pleasant and accommodating and cleaned up daily when they were done. 

The pricing for Gimel was very clear and it was not a constant upcharge for unforeseen difficulty. I felt very comfortable paying the price we did knowing that it was not bloated with high labor charges. I felt like it was putting money towards the house. The quality of the workmanship is high, and I am confident that if something was off, Mandel would be over to fix it. If you would like an honest, responsible contractor, with no ego, I would highly recommend Gimel construction.

My kitchen in Sun Lakes was the fifth kitchen remodel in the past eight years. I can freely state that my association with Gimel Construction was the best. He is a busy man, and I had to wait my turn; but he came when he said he would. He completed the job as promised and, overall, he did an outstanding job. Before contacting Mandel, I received three bids for the paint, and none of the contractors were able to install soft hinges. Mandel completed my entire job, hinges included, for less than the previous higher paint bid. 

A real bonus with Mandel is his meticulous work. Painting and tile were carefully attended to and all construction debris was cleared away. Nothing for me to do but enjoy my new kitchen. Although paint and tile work were all that I required, Gimel is a licensed construction company and can do many other jobs. He did in fact, install ceramic tile for me last August.
